Song of the Day: "Dragula" by Rob Zombie
I think I have Rob Zombie to personally thank for saving my sanity today while at work. I was majorly stressed out to the point of breaking but then enter Mr. Zombie and his awesomeness to the rescue! And this song definitely hit the spot for me to finally calm down. And yeah, I know the video is creepy/corny but the song kicks ass!

Anime Spotlight: Ghost Hound
I figure since I've been bedridden most of the day it was about damn time I did another blog post. Not to mention I haven't singled out any new animes in a while for you guys to check out. So today the spotlight falls on an anime I found courtesy of my boyfriend's Netflix account.
Ghost Hound is an anime that centers around three boys who've all had traumatic experiences in their lives. One was kidnapped along with his sister as a child and watched her die in front of his eyes (he was only 3 at the time), another found his father dead after he committed suicide for being framed for the kidnappings, and another believes he was "cursed" by a fellow classmate who he drove to suicide after bullying him (the kid jumped off the top floor of their old school). Nice cheery way to start out the story, right? Well, all three of these boys find that they can "soul travel" or have out-of-body experiences and enter the spirit world or the "Unseen World." Almost instantly freaky things start to happen. I've actually put watching the rest of it on hold because I was watching the episodes late at night and saw the preview for the next one. They outlined what was going on and I said "O.K that's more than enough creepiness for one night, thank you."
Oh, and want to know something cool? The guy that created this anime is also the creator of Ghost in the Shell. Yeah! How awesome is that? This anime will definitely make shivers run up your spine, so go check it out!
Sorry the trailer's all in Japanese, there weren't any good ones in English.

Record-Setting Boobs
Foamy is brilliant in this episode just for coming up with the term 'Cherno-boob'
And yet at the same time, this episode is disturbing mainly for the fact that I know such a thing as world-record-setting boobs exist. And if they don't they probably will soon...

Bring Out Your Wild Side
Now there's going to be a ton of people who read this post and instantly will get turned off to what it's about. Have an open mind people, that's the whole reason I started this thing, to try and get people to have more of an open mind about things they're unfamiliar with. And this is one thing I can guarantee most of you aren't actually familiar with aside from their television reputation (which doesn't count for anything)...
Yes, furries. This weekend Pittsburgh is playing host to the biggest furry convention in the U.S. called Anthrocon. And get your cursor away from that search bar! Right now!
This is going to be my first time going and, just like most of your reactions right now, I was incredibly uneasy at the idea of going. But after talking to my boyfriend I figured, "What the hell? Don't knock it til you try it." And that's exactly what I'm doing. I'll be going in cat getup, complete with a tail and matching ears along with whiskers and I'm not afraid to admit it. I know furries tend to get a bad rap, but then again so do most of the lifestyles and groups I tend to hang out with, so this really isn't that much different for me. I mean, I have attended Tekkoshocon with regularity so long as my funds allowed for it.
I hope some of you will be brave enough to give it a try along with me. It's starting tomorrow and it continues on through the entire weekend. There will be tons of people there from all over the world there. According to my man, people are already starting the celebrations downtown, so keep an eye out. Hope I see some of you there!

A New Webcomic Discovery!
THIS IS AN ADULT WEB-COMIC! IT'S RATED A DEFINITE 'MA' ON MY SCALE, YOUNG CHILDREN AVERT YOUR EYES!
Ok, now that I have that covered...
My friend Mike showed this to me the other night and I read through the first dozen strips easily in one sitting. Basic setting is in London, England around the time that Jack the Ripper was supposed to be getting big... So to speak. Jacky boy actually is the main focus of this comic but instead of being this tall, dark, almost alluring figure, he's a midget who starts out working for the whores on London's streets. But not everything is as it seems. Apparently there's also a high-class woman who's fall from grace started because of Jack. She went from being the envy of society to being a complete psychopathic murderer who got shipped off to Australia to be thrown in prison. The latest news that everyone's gotten of her was that she committed suicide, but no one can really be sure.
But this is definitely one great web-series for someone who's into Jack the Ripper theories and stories, like myself. Definitely give it a look, you can find it right here. Happy reading!

Song of the Day: "Immigrant" by Trent Reznor
I'm re-watching the American version of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. I was tempted to watch the Swedish version but the mood I'm in called for something a little more on the gritty side (thank you David Fincher) and not to mention Trent Reznor's remix of "Immigrant" is just completely kick-ass. And as a special treat, here's the song with the original title intro from the movie, enjoy!

Don't Get Between Foamy and His Video Games
Because a large percentage of the human population has a skull thicker than concrete, Foamy is going to drive the point home to all you video game nay-sayers. Enjoy!
